Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • In a comment, share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's mine:

    I vaguely remember hearing about something like this. Is this where young ladies were supposed to lick something that turned out to be toxic?

    Wahh, the teeth part freaked me out. I've had a nightmare once where all my teeth fell out. Totally scary teaser!!!

    Yes, Alice, that's the one! It's really sad what happened to those young ladies.
    I hope I haven't giving too much away...there's about one hundred different cases of poisoning explored in this book.
    (I just entered to win your autographed copy!)

    And yes, Gia, this is definitely a creepy book. I can take a fair amount of "grossness" in the books I read, but this one has made me cringe more than once!

    Andrea...a few of the girls did get new jobs, but unfortunately it was already too late :(

    But the forensic scientists featured in the book worked long and hard to make sure that the rest of us are safe!
